Golf at Clearwater Golf Club
Golf at Clearwater Golf Club - New Zealand
description

Golfing legend Sir Bob Charles and course developer John Darby dreamed of an immaculately challenging golf course. A course to delight players and test the world’s best. A course which Christchurch, and New Zealand, could be proud.

In just two decades, Clearwater has become that course.

At Clearwater we’re proud to be home to champions, future champions and all who love the game. Play where Lydia Ko posted a course and career record whilst ranked World #1. Walk in the footsteps of international Major champions and Clearwater graduates such as Michael Campbell, Jason Dufner, Bubba Watson, Jason Day and Jimmy Walker.

The Clearwater golf course was completed for the first of its many annual international professional golf tournaments in March 2002.
Clearwater has hosted prestigious championships since 2002, including eight NZPGA Championships, two New Zealand Men’s Opens and four New Zealand Women’s Opens.

Sir Bob Charles training facility opened in 2024, nestled alongside Christchurch’s renowned Clearwater Golf Club, features a 340m dual-ended driving range and a sprawling 3,500m² putting green, equipped with cutting-edge TrackMan and PuttView technology to help you understand and advance your game.
